Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how 4rend Studio ("4rend", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit 4rend.com, request access to our client portal, or engage our services. It also describes the choices and rights you have.

We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to review your request, deliver our services, and run our business responsibly. We do not sell your personal information.

01Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email, company or brand name, and any details you share about your project when you request access or contact us. If you place an order, this may include project briefs, references, and billing-related information.
  • Account information: the credentials you create for the client portal (passwords are stored only in hashed form — we never see them in plain text).
  • Information collected automatically: basic usage and device data such as pages viewed, referring links, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
  • We do not intentionally collect special categories of data (such as health, biometric, or political information). Please do not send us such data.

02How we use your information

  • To review and respond to account-access requests and enquiries.
  • To provide, manage, and deliver our services and the client portal, including project communication and file delivery.
  • To process payments and keep business, accounting, and tax records.
  • To improve our website and services and to keep them secure and functioning.
  • To send you service messages, and — only if you opt in — occasional updates and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights.

03Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal information on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide services you request), our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve our business), your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.

04Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of essential cookies to make the site work and analytics cookies to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics for aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and many browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal and analytics opt-outs. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site function.

05How we share information

  • Service providers (processors) who help us operate, acting on our instructions — including our website host, our backend and database hosting, our transactional email provider, and our analytics provider.
  • Professional advisers, or authorities, where required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

06Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described here — for example, to maintain your account, deliver and support projects, and meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements — after which we delete or anonymize it. Declined access requests are kept only as long as necessary and then removed.

07Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data there or in other countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as recognized standard contractual clauses) where required by applicable law.

09Your rights and choices

  • Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent.
  • If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
  • If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.
  • To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@4rend.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

10Marketing communications

We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out at any time by contacting support@4rend.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect essential service messages related to your account or projects.

11Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices.

13Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
